Adrien Williams for architect Alan Carle
To tame the light. This was the challenge Adrien Williams faced when tasked with capturing the warmth of Alain Carle’s architectural project, inspired from origami. So as to leave nothing to chance, Adrien spent half a day merely studying the light. The brazen, piercing sunlight became the key to unlocking the projected shadows. A magician of lighting and touch-ups, Adrien succeeded in bending the sun’s rays to his will. The result is a series of shots in which the contrasts between day and night, shadow and colour combine to mystify. See it for yourself in Adrien Williams’ portfolio.
