Damian Siqueiros in romantic mode for Les Grands Ballets
With his passion for the art of photography and his quest for the best possible images, Damian Siqueiros used all of his artistic intelligence for the 2016-2017 season of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal.
Recognized as one of the best movement photographers, Damian Siqueiros is working with Les Grands Ballet for a sixth consecutive year. He is a meticulous artist, who conducted thorough research in advance to create a strong concept expressing all of the sensitivity and sensuality of the works.
After finding his concept, Damian Siqueiros created sketches (true works of art) translating his thoughts into images. From the development of the concept to shooting and editing, he took care of everything, including the adaptation of photographs of two guest companies. Damian Siqueiros worked under retiring artistic director of Les Grands Ballets Gradimir Pankov, who has been succeeded by Ivan Cavallari.
